Facebook continues to Dominate Social Networks in the World [Infographic] Posted: 22 Jun 2011 11:57 AM PDT [Infographic] Facebook to dominate the world for several coming years This is my first infographic post on Wizard Journal and I am happy that it is about Facebook, the internet website that has changed the way we socialize. In a year or so, Facebook would hit a 1 billion members, currently the count is 700 million and ticking. Who could have imagined that this basic idea to create a universal Facebook for Harvard students would make the young Mark Zuckerberg one of the most popular people alive on this earth, this is amazing isn't it? I am a huge fan of the movie The Social Network, mainly because it is related to a computer science majors student build his dream website { theFacebook } despite of all the criticism and temporary setback that he faces all the student outrage over Facemash.com. But there is some bad news, according to some of the statistics revealed recently, about 8 million people deleted their account on Facebook out which 6 million belong to United States. I am certain that this because of Privacy Issues raised against Facebook. Lesley Stahl, a report of 60 minutes – CBS News questioned Mark Zuckerberg about User content privacy on Facebook.com in a manner that seemed quite rude. I think that Facebook is a marvelous invention and Mark Zuckerberg deserves where he is today. By this I don't mean that Facebook is safe, oh no! there are lots of third party apps which deliver spam, nuisance status updates and even bugs. As of now Facebook is probably in top 5 of my most visited website because my pack of school friends are on Facebook, so how can I leave it, privacy issues don't really bug me, I just wish Facebook loads of Success. Keep ruling the world, woot! The Infographic (Sorry for such a long talk…)
